Costume Contest

Costume Contest returns to Odyssey Con!

CostumeContest

Odyssey Con brought back the costume contest for 2016 and turn out was great!  Costuming and cosplay has always been a part of Odyssey Con, so we where pleased to have had so many entries.

We hope for an even better turn out for our Odyssey Con 17 Costume Contest.

Cost of Entry

The cost of the contest is free for 2017. All entrants must have a valid Odyssey Con badge to enter, though it doesn't have to be worn (integrated into the costume) during the contest.

Do I have to do a convention-themed costume?

No. By all means, enter whatever costume you like. The theme for this year's convention is fairly general, and we are happy to have contestants of all sorts and themes.

Costume Contest Winner

Alice - Once Upon a Time

Alice - Once Upon A Time

Our first place winner was Melissa Hatz with the entry "Alice from Once Upon a Time ".  Her handmade costume is based on the TV series Once Upon a Time, and included hand-stitched embroidery.  We were very impressed by the work of detail she had put into her dress.

We congratulate her on wining our returning costume contest and hope to see her again next year.

There were also other winners and honorable mentions we sadly did not get pictures of.  The webmaster, who was acting as Costume Contest Coordinator this year, takes full responsibility for the oversight.  He also apologies to the entrants that should be listed here and promises to do better next time.

He knows what he did ...
